Nicole Cochis is a dedicated family law attorney at Ryder & Phelps, specializing in divorce, child custody, support arrangements, and asset division. With a focus on providing compassionate guidance, Nicole joined our firm in 2021, bringing with her a commitment to serving clients during challenging times.
Having graduated from Northeastern University School of Law, Nicole takes pride in her holistic approach to lawyering. She goes beyond being a zealous advocate and works closely with clients to understand their unique goals and help them navigate the complexities of family law.
During her time at Northeastern, Nicole gained invaluable experience as a Rule 3.03 certified student attorney at Greater Boston Legal Services. There, she represented clients throughout the divorce process, with a primary focus on assisting domestic violence victims and addressing intricate custody matters.
Nicole also contributed her legal skills to the Committee for Public Counsel Services in the Children and Family Law division. This role involved working with parents involved in care and custody proceedings, ensuring their rights were protected and their voices heard.
Before pursuing her legal career, Nicole honed her skills as a judicial intern for The Honorable Joan S. Posner of the Dutchess County Family Court in the Ninth Judicial District of New York.
If she is not at the office, you can find Nicole exploring a National Park, having brunch with her friends, baking extravagant cookies, or relaxing with her family and pets.
