MacKenzie Mahoney is a passionate family law attorney at Ryder & Phelps, specializing in complicated custody matters involving domestic violence, mental health, and substance abuse, as well as significant experience pursuing and defending against abuse prevention and harassment prevention orders. As a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Lowell and Suffolk University Law School, MacKenzie has gained the necessary skills to advocate for her clients both in and out of court.
Since swearing into the Massachusetts Bar, MacKenzie has worked exclusively in the Massachusetts Family and Probate Court system. MacKenzie assisted clients as an associate attorney with reputable family law firms in the Greater Boston Area and as a Staff Attorney providing emergency legal assistance to survivors of domestic violence and indigent individuals with mental health struggles, specifically in the areas of divorce and custody.
When not in the office, MacKenzie can be found working her way through a new cookbook, exploring trails with her two dogs, or spending time with her friends and family.
