Attorney Caelin L. Rod is a dedicated family law attorney at Ryder & Phelps, specializing in divorce, child custody and support arrangements. Caelin joined the firm as a law clerk in September 2025 and was promoted to associate in December 2026, bringing a strong commitment to client advocacy and a passion for supporting individuals through complex family law matters. Caelin has experience representing clients in cases involving divorce, child support, and domestic violence, and is skilled in preparing motions, memoranda, and trial strategies tailored to each client’s needs.
Attorney Rod earned a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School, where Caelin was a First Generation Scholarship recipient and served as President of the First Generation Law Student Association. Caelin was also active in the Women’s Law Association and served as a Law Admission Ambassador. During law school, Caelin gained hands-on experience as a 3:03 Certified Student Attorney in the Family Advocacy Clinic, representing clients in Family and Probate Court, conducting investigations, and developing trial strategies.
Prior to joining Ryder & Phelps, Caelin worked as a law clerk at Beagan Law Offices, drafting memoranda, motions, and pleadings for family law, personal injury, and landlord-tenant cases. Caelin also interned at Cain Hibbard & Myers PC, preparing real estate documents and supporting clients through residential closings, and at Parker Gallini LLP, assisting with record management for a busy immigration law firm.
Caelin holds a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in Undergraduate Law from Suffolk University, where Caelin was a Pell Scholar and a member of Lambda Epsilon Chi National Honors Society in Paralegal/Legal Assistant Studies.
If not at the office, you can find Caelin surrounding herself with loved ones, running, downhill skiing, trying different restaurants, and baking. She also has a love for traveling.
